Sobriety Tracker

Sobriety Tracker is designed around a private, local-first recovery experience. This policy explains what information the app uses, where it is stored, and how third-party services such as ads and purchases may process data.

Information You Enter

The app lets you enter information such as your sobriety start date, urge triggers, urge outcomes, notes, optional money-saved estimates, and optional time-regained estimates. This information is used to show your dashboard, history, insights, progress, and streak-related stats.

Local Storage

Your recovery data is stored locally on your device using Android app storage. Sobriety Tracker does not operate its own account system, cloud sync, or server database for this MVP release.

If you uninstall the app or clear app data from Android settings, locally stored app data may be deleted from your device.

Ads

Sobriety Tracker may show Google AdMob ads on passive dashboard pages. Ads are not shown during the active urge flow. Google and its partners may collect and process device identifiers, ad interaction data, approximate location, and other information according to their own policies and your device settings.

You can learn more about how Google uses information from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Purchases

The app offers an optional one-time premium purchase through Google Play Billing. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play. Sobriety Tracker stores a local cached premium flag so the app can hide ads and unlock premium-only surfaces after purchase or restore.

Notifications

The app may ask for notification permission when you start an urge delay timer. Timer notifications are used to show running or finished timer states. The app does not use notifications for advertising.

Data Sharing

Sobriety Tracker does not sell your personal recovery data. Data may be processed by third-party providers used by the app, including Google AdMob for ads and Google Play Billing for purchases, as described above.

Children

Sobriety Tracker is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us using the support email listed on the Google Play store listing.

Your Choices

You can clear local app data through Android system settings. You can also manage ad personalization and app permissions through your Android and Google settings. Purchases can be restored through the app's settings screen when available.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page.
